28018 (2026). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister of Transport: What plans, if any, does the Government have to review safety infrastructure on Desert Road in light of recent fatalities?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised the crash which occurred on the 1 June 2026 is still under investigation by NZ Police and NZTA will consider any recommendations in due course.
