28013 (2025). Hūhana Lyndon to the Minister for Land Information: What reports, briefings, memos, aides-memoire, notes or written advice, if any, did he receive on the proposed name change of Russell to Kororareka listed by agency, title and date received?

Hon Chris Penk: Corrected reply: Members of my office will communicate with Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) on a number of issues some which are not collated or registered in a way that could be included in a single answer. LINZ also supports me in other ways which are captured but would be imprudent to collate. Examples of this would include support responding to Ministerial correspondence (withheld to support the privacy of writers), written parliamentary questions (publicly available on the parliamentary website) and Cabinet paper consultations (withheld as these are under active consideration by the Government). However, in terms of material on the proposed name change of Russell to Kororāreka I received five documents from LINZ. Please see the attached document for details of these items.
