Camilla Belich to the Minister of Conservation: How many people, if any, appointed or reappointed by the Minister since 27 November 2023 to any board, committee, or other body of any agency, department, Crown entity, company, or other organisation for which the Minister is responsible have had a conflict of interest management plan put in place, broken down by organisation, role, the number of interests identified as giving rise to a conflict, and the date the plan was put in place, as at 10 June 2026?

Hon Tama Potaka: As Minister of Conservation, I have a responsibility for appointments to 45 entities. All entities are responsible for their own record keeping and maintaining a record of conflicts of interest. I am advised that the information requested is not held in a central repository, nor in an easily assessable form. To collate the information would require significant manual collation at the entity and Department level, which is not possible within the timeframe for written questions.
