27965 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Prime Minister: How many consultation processes have been initiated, if any, in each of the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies as at 30 May 2024?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I am the Responsible Minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). There were two consultation processes arising from the Government’s fiscal sustainability programme. One was a formal consultation and change process. The second one was an informal consultation process as this involved a direct reassignment of the incumbents into a new unit.
