27960 (2026). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Education: What engagement, if any, will Dandolopartners and Martin Jenkins have with the Teaching Council Chair during each phase of their work on providing initial advice for a review of Teacher Education Qualification Standards?

Hon Erica Stanford: During the initial phase of work, MartinJenkins engaged with recognised experts as part of gathering evidence and testing insights. This included engagement with the Teaching Council, given its role as the regulator for the teaching profession. The Chair was invited to take part in this engagement but declined the invitation and delegated the engagement to a Teaching Council senior leader.
