Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: Does the Minister intend to progress a policy that “Councils will have more flexibility about where houses are built by being able to opt-out of the Medium Density Residential Zone law” as outlined in the National Party’s ‘Going for Housing Growth’ document, and if so, will councils be required to zone for a similar or greater number of projected housing places as was projected under the Medium Density Residential Zone law?
