27952 (2025). Lan Pham to the Minister for the South Island: Is the Minister aware if the Klondyke Water Storage project will lead to an expansion in the area of land in dairy farming as a result of the project, if so, what is the projected increase in land in dairy farming by hectares?

Hon James Meager: Decisions regarding the Klondyke Water Storage project are still being considered. Due to ongoing developments, I cannot discuss the project any further.
