27927 (2023). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Transport: What modelling has the Minister done on the total expected dollar cost of his commitment to reverse speed limit reductions, as outlined in the coalition agreement between National and ACT?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am currently considering broader changes to the Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2022 in line with the Government's 100-Day Plan. As part of this work and in due course, I expect to consider the impacts of any regulatory changes as I would for any ordinary rule.
