27874 (2025). Kahurangi Carter to the Minister for Disability Issues: How, if at all, has Kāinga Ora moving to market rents impacted service providers who are subject to the freeze in residential care funding?

Hon Louise Upston: I am advised by the Ministry of Social Development that Budget 2025 included funding for residential support, including the implementation of a new pricing model, which enables DSS to remove the residential funding freeze and provide for price uplifts where appropriate.
