27863 (2025). Kahurangi Carter to the Minister for Disability Issues: How many people, if any, have not been able to enter residential care due to previous Needs Assessment and Service Coordination agreements not going ahead; listed by month?

Hon Louise Upston: I am advised by the Ministry of Social Development that they do not collect this information centrally. Needs Assessment Service Coordination (NASC) are responsible for prioritising service delivery to ensure that those with the greatest need are accommodated within their region.
