27856 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: How many days per week is an ultrasound service currently available at each of Kaitāia and Thames Hospitals?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that ultrasound services are available three days per week at Thames Hospital and an average of two days per week at Kaitāia Hospital. A mobile ultrasound service also provides one additional day per week of scanning in the mid and far north.
