Camilla Belich to the Minister of Defence: What is the total additional annual cost, if any, of all board fee increases approved by the Minister since 27 November 2023 across any agency, department, Crown entity, company, or other organisation for which the Minister is responsible, broken down by organisation and year, as at 8 June 2026?

Hon Chris Penk: Nil for DESC. The additional expense incurred with the increase in fees for each Veterans’ Board from 1 July 2025 to 8 June 2026 is as follows: Veteran’ Advisory Board: $7,855.66; Veterans’ Health Advisory Panel: $4,437.43; Veterans’ Entitlements Appeal Board: $2,694.29.
