Camilla Belich to the Minister of Transport: What board fee increases, if any, did the Minister approve for any board, committee, or other body of any agency, department, Crown entity, company, or other organisation for which the Minister is responsible since 27 November 2023, broken down by organisation, role, the previous annual fee, the new annual fee, the percentage increase, and the date approved, as at 8 June 2026?

Hon Chris Bishop: I refer the Member to the attached document. There has only been one change in fees for the New Zealand Transport Agency and City Rail Link Limited since 27 November 2023. Outside of a 10 percent increase to match band changes in 2023, the fee increase for NZTA is the first in over a decade. The fee increase for City Rail Link Limited was the first since the company’s inception in 2017.
