27737 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Associate Minister of Education: How much was paid to the School Lunch Collective during the week of May 19th 2025?

Hon David Seymour: I am advised the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) has not yet received an invoice for payment of 539,511 meals delivered for the week of 19 May 2025. The invoice will be reviewed against the daily delivery information prior to payment being made. This is aligned with the Ministry’s standard checking process. The School Lunch collective (SLC) will be paid $3 per meal delivered to students, and 84 cents for additional food items delivered to Year 9+ students. This information is published daily on the SLC Website https://www.schoollunchcollective.co.nz/.
