Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Police: Does the Minister intend to give the Commissioner of Police the power to “…issue a Firearms Prohibition Order (FPO) to any gang member who has been convicted of a serious offence”, as outlined in the National Party’s ‘Backing Police, Tackling Gangs’ document, and if so, what advice, reports, briefings, aide memoires, or any other documents has the Minister, or any member of their Office commissioned on this by title and date?
