27696 (2026). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Police: Has the delivery of Keeping Ourselves Safe Programme by New Zealand Police paused or ceased in any policing districts, since June 2024 to date, if so, which districts and why?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that no Police district as a whole has paused or ceased the delivery of Keeping Ourselves Safe Programme since June 2024. However, delivery by Police has ceased in some areas (within districts). These are: • Waitakere Area – due to operational priorities • Waikato South Area – No School Community Officers available to deliver the programme • Mid-South Canterbury Area – No School Community Officers available to deliver the programme. This is also my response to Written Parliamentary Question 27702 (2026).
