27685 (2026). Lan Pham to the Minister responsible for RMA Reform: Following Reply 19720 (2026), what process was used to select recipients for the Ministry for the Environment's letter about the introduction of the Natural Environment Bill and the Planning Bill?

Hon Chris Bishop: The recipients of the letters were selected from key groups and individuals that the Ministry for the Environment has relationships and regular engagement with. This list included representatives across a broad range of interested stakeholder groups and sectors, as well as central and local government, eNGOs, planning system participants and users, and Māori leaders.
