Camilla Belich to the Minister of Conservation: What board fee increases, if any, did the Minister approve for any board, committee, or other body of any agency, department, Crown entity, company, or other organisation for which the Minister is responsible since 27 November 2023, broken down by organisation, role, the previous annual fee, the new annual fee, the percentage increase, and the date approved, as at 8 June 2026?

Hon Tama Potaka: I approved increases in Board fees on 13 May 2026, the full increase is effective 1 July 2027, with 50% of the increase effective from 1 July 2026. The attached table shows the increases. The attachment is an estimate as actual increases are determined for each entity by 1. How many members attending each meeting 2. How long each meeting is (days) 3. How frequently the meetings are called. I approved the increase in fees following Cabinet’s approval of the Revised Cabinet Fees Framework (CO 25/2). All fees are in line with the Framework.
