27643 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: What does the 2025 investment case estimate as the cost of the second and third stages of the Northland Corridor, and does the Government still intend to proceed with those stages?

Hon Chris Bishop: The Investment Case identified a $15.3b - $18.3b investment envelope to design, consent and construct Te Hana to Port Marsden Highway and Port Marsden Highway to Whangārei. Cost estimates remain subject to refinement. The Government has signalled its intention to progress the Northland Corridor in stages, subject to funding, approvals, and further analysis.
