27642 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: What impact does the Minister of Transport expect repayments on the Crown loan for the Warkworth to Te Hana expressway to have on the National Land Transport Fund's capacity to fund other transport projects?

Hon Chris Bishop: Repayments on any Crown loan provided to NZ Transport Agency would be considered alongside other National Land Transport Fund commitments. The NLTF is managed on a multi-year basis and reviewed through the National Land Transport Programme process. Any repayment obligations would be balanced against other priorities to ensure the overall programme remains affordable and deliverable.
