27622 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: What additional payments, allowances, or expenses, if any — including but not limited to meeting fees, daily rates, travel, or accommodation — were paid to board or committee members of any agency, department, Crown entity, company, or other organisation for which the Minister is responsible since 27 November 2023, broken down by organisation, type of payment, and total amount, as at 8 June 2026?
Cameron Brewer: I am responsible for six Crown entities (Accreditation Council, Commerce Commission, External Reporting Board, Financial Markets Authority, Retirement Commission and Takeovers Panel) and seven other bodies (Copyright Tribunal, Financial Advice Code Committee, Financial Advice Disciplinary Committee, Joint Accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand, Motor Vehicle Disputes Tribunal, New Zealand Standards Approval Board and Trans-Tasman IP Attorneys Board). Providing the level of information sought by the member within a written question timeframe would involve substantial collation and review and require entities to divert personnel from their core duties. I do not consider that the time and expense of answering this question to this level of detail within this timeframe is in the public interest.
