27591 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: How many vacant positions have been removed, if any, in each of the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies as at 30 May 2024?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: None as a result of the government’s directive to reduce expenditure in Budget 2024. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade manages vacant positions as part of the standard resource allocation process.
