27544 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for the Environment: How many vacant positions have been removed, if any, in each of the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies as at 30 May 2024?

Hon Penny Simmonds: In the last financial year, the Ministry for the Environment has implemented recruitment controls which have resulted in around 200 vacant roles being unfilled and removed from the organisations structure.
