27539 (2023). Hon Jo Luxton to the Minister of Immigration: Does the Minister intend to “double the Recognised Seasonal Employer (RSE) worker cap over five years to 38,000 per year and explore other countries entering the RSE scheme” as outlined in the National Party’s ‘Getting Back to Farming’ document, and if so, what advice, reports, briefings, aide memoires, or any other documents has the Minister, or any member of their Office commissioned on this by title and date?

Hon Erica Stanford: I have received a briefing from MBIE on the immigration portfolio and I am looking forward to receiving further briefings from senior MBIE officials on the policies outlined in the National Party Manifesto and agreements between the National Party and its coalition partners.
