27461 (2023). Hon Dr Deborah Russell to the Minister of Revenue: Does the Minister still anticipate that the FamilyBoost childcare rebate will be paid directly to parents’ bank accounts as part of their take-home pay, with payments calculated on the basis of attendance data already collected by early childhood services, as outlined in the National Party’s ‘Back Pocket Boost’ document, and if so, what advice, reports, briefings, aide memoires, or any other documents has the Minister, or any member of their Office received during the week of 27 November 2023, on this by title and date?
Hon Simon Watts: The Government’s policy programme and priorities are set out in the Speech from the Throne and the coalition documents. I am currently seeking advice on a range of these items from officials. Decisions taken to progress the Government’s policy programme and priorities, including decisions about agency funding , will be announced in due course. Advice and modelling officials provide to support these decisions will be proactively released as part of a proactive release process.
