27458 (2023). Hon Dr Deborah Russell to the Minister of Revenue: What actions, if any, does the Minister intend to take to ensure that the FamilyBoost childcare rebate will be paid directly to parents’ bank accounts as part of their take-home pay, with payments calculated on the basis of attendance data already collected by early childhood services, as outlined in the National Party’s ‘Back Pocket Boost’ document?

Hon Simon Watts: The Government’s policy programme and priorities are set out in the Speech from the Throne and the coalition documents. I am currently seeking advice on a range of these items from officials. Decisions taken to progress the Government’s policy programme and priorities, including decisions about agency funding , will be announced in due course. Advice and modelling officials provide to support these decisions will be proactively released as part of a proactive release process.
