27452 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: On how many occasions since 1 January 2024 have gynaecological oncology specialists travelled to Wellington Hospital from other centres to provide care?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised there have been 10 occasions since 1 January 2024 where a gynaecological oncology specialist has travelled to Wellington Hospital. As the Member will be aware, complex gynaecological oncology procedures often require support from specialists based outside Wellington - a practice that was also in place prior to November 2023.
