With regard to agencies, Crown entities and any other bodies under the Science, Innovation and Technology portfolio, I am advised two entities opened consultations in the week beginning 26 May 2025. New Zealand Forest Research Institute Limited (Scion) is continuing its consultation process regarding a 19 km shift in the site location of its Christchurch operations. This shift will affect 38 staff, however there is no impact to employment terms. There is no proposed net change in roles.
