27396 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister responsible for RMA Reform: How many vacant positions have been removed, if any, in each of the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies as at 30 May 2024?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that in the last financial year the Ministry for the Environment has implemented recruitment controls which have resulted in around 200 vacant roles being unfilled and removed from the organisations structure.
