Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Local Government: Does the Minister intend to repeal the Natural and Built Environment Act 2023, as outlined in the coalition agreement between National and ACT, and what advice, reports, briefings, aide memoires, or any other documents has the Minister, or any member of their Office received during the week of 27 November 2023, on this by title and date?

Hon Simeon Brown: The primary responsibility for the Government’s plans to repeal the Natural and Built Environment Act 2023 (NBA) rests with the Minister Responsible for RMA Reform, the Hon Chris Bishop.
