27367 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Corrections: What additional payments, allowances, or expenses, if any — including but not limited to meeting fees, daily rates, travel, or accommodation — were paid to board or committee members of any agency, department, Crown entity, company, or other organisation for which the Minister is responsible since 27 November 2023, broken down by organisation, type of payment, and total amount, as at 8 June 2026?
Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that no additional payments, allowances or expenses are paid to board or committee members. While Corrections does pay travel and accommodation costs for board and committee members where a member requires travel and accommodation to carry out their responsibilities and duties, these are arranged and paid for directly by Corrections on behalf of members and members are not reimbursed for the cost. I refer the member to the attached table, which provides the total amount paid by Corrections for travel and accommodation costs for board and committee members, broken down by financial year. To ensure accuracy of reporting, these details have been provided by the closest complete financial months to the timeframes the member has requested. I am further advised that to separate these expenses by type would require significant manual collation and research. I am not prepared to ask officials to undertake this work for the purposes of responding to this question.
