27354 (2023). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Local Government: Does the Minister intend to introduce financial incentives for councils to enable more housing, including considering sharing a portion of GST collected on new residential builds with councils, as outlined in the coalition agreement between National and ACT if so, when will this be implemented?

Hon Simeon Brown: In my capacity as the Minister of Local Government I intend to meet all coalition agreement commitments. I have not made any decisions on the timeframe for this work.
