Camilla Belich to the Minister of Climate Change: How many board or committee appointments and reappointments, if any, did the Minister make since 27 November 2023 to any agency, department, Crown entity, company, or other organisation for which the Minister is responsible, broken down by organisation, role, the annual fee attached to the role, and whether that fee increased on appointment or reappointment, as at 8 June 2026?

Hon Simon Watts: Since 27 November 2023, I have made one member appointment to the Nominating Committee for the Climate Change Commission. Members may receive a daily fee of $395. No fee increase was associated with this appointment. I have also recommended to the Governor-General the appointment of two members and one Chair to the Climate Change Commission. I do not hold information on the fees for Commission Board roles, as fees are set by the Remuneration Authority I am not the responsible Minister for any boards managed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
