27273 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Customs: What consultations are the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, planning to open on the week beginning Monday 26 May 2025 with employees around any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions, and when is any such consultation expected to close?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that for the week beginning 26 May 2025, the New Zealand Customs Service did not open any consultations with employees regarding proposed changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions. This response is inclusive of the staff of the Border Executive Board Secretariat as these staff are considered employees of the New Zealand Customs Service.
