27215 (2025). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Attorney-General: What steps, if any, is the Attorney-General taking to ensure tikanga Māori is reflected in Crown legal proceedings?

Hon Judith Collins: As Attorney-General I am committed to upholding the rule of law, including in the Crown’s participation in litigation before the Courts. Tikanga Māori is reflected in Crown legal proceedings to the extent that is required by the arguments and evidence raised and the applicable law.
