27182 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister for ACC: What measures, if any, will the government implement to ensure that claimants in the Accident Compensation Corporation v TN [2023] NZ Court of Appeal judgement and/or similar ACC claims receive the appropriate compensation?

Hon Scott Simpson: ACC implements the law as set out in the Accident Compensation Act 2001, as interpreted by the courts. The Court of Appeal’s decision is complex, and ACC continues to work through several detailed issues to implement changes to its processes.
