27131 (2025). Dr Tracey McLellan to the Minister of Corrections: Further to Reply 19523 (2025), how many (and what percentage), if any, of young offenders (aged 18-25) were referred to rehabilitation programmes March 2025?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that while Corrections can determine the number of young offenders who are referred to a rehabilitation programme for a specific date, due to the complexity of the data set and variations in an individual’s location over the space of a month, the member’s question cannot be answered as it is currently framed without substantial collation and manual analysis, which I am not prepared to ask of my officials for the purposes of this response.
