Hon Erica Stanford: Cabinet was briefed on the Royal Commission's recommendation for an independent redress system. Written and verbal advice was provided to Crown Response Ministers on a number of options for the redress system between March 2024 and April 2025. Cabinet made final decisions in April 2025.
