27062 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: How many additional cancers and pre-cancerous lesions are expected to be detected per year from lowering the bowel screening age to 56?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that operational modelling indicates approximately 150 advanced adenomas and 30 cancers will be identified in 56 and 57-year-olds each year.
