Hon David Seymour: Decisions on which medicines are funded are operational matters for Pharmac, who makes those decisions independently within its statutory role and available funding. Pharmac will continue to use a combination of Budget funding and commercial activities to achieve value for money and, where possible, support access to new medicines or widen access to existing treatments.
