27046 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Is the $39.8 million per year for the Digital Services Cyber Security initiative in Budget 2026 ongoing baseline funding or time-limited?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that security funding is based on investment numbers aligned to the 10-year Health Digital Investment Plan. Funding in Budget 2026 is for four years and I expect to be updated about future investment needs in due course. This is similar to the approach taken through Budget 2022 in which funding was not baselined.
