27039 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Will any further Crown capital be required for the New Dunedin Hospital beyond this appropriation, and what advice has the Minister received on that risk?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that further Crown capital will not be required for the approved 2025 scope for the New Dunedin Hospital. I am further advised that the risk and associated contingency was carefully considered, with an independent quantitative risk assessment and an independent targeted investment review conducted in 2025.
