Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: Does the Minister intend to “Introduce a new Land Transport Rule requiring road controlling authorities to set speed limits taking into account not only safety impacts, but also travel time impacts, and the views of road users and the community”, as outlined in the National Party’s ‘Accelerate NZ’ document?, and if so, what advice, reports, briefings, aides-memoire, or any other documents has the Minister, or any member of their Office commissioned on this by title and date?
