27021 (2026). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: Further to PWQ 20472 Have other visits occurred and if so when and where?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: No visits have been made since 30 April, shortly after which Ms Wihongi was moved to a different facility in Arizona. Since then, the New Zealand Consulate in Los Angeles has been in communication with Ms Wihongi in accordance with agreed arrangements. The Consulate has also maintained regular contact with US-based family and Ms Wihongi’s legal representative.
