Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Lead Coordination Minister for the Government's Response to the Royal Commission’s Report into Historical Abuse in State Care and in the Care of Faith-based Institutions: What provisions, if any, have been made in the redress system announced on the 9 May 2025 for survivors who are older, seriously ill or who have multiple and complex morbidities to receive priority regarding their claims, as recommended by the Royal Commission into Abuse in Care and the High-Level Design Group?

Hon Erica Stanford: Redress agencies already prioritise processing redress claims from elderly and seriously ill survivors and will continue to do so.
