26984 (2025). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Prime Minister: How much funding will be carried over, if any, in each of the Vote’s that the Minister has responsibility, if any, for from the 2024/25 year into the 2025/26 year and what for what reason or reasons will these funds be carried over?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: As Prime Minister, I am the responsible Minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). The National Emergency Management Agency is a departmental agency hosted by DPMC. I am advised that officials are currently gathering the information sought as part of the 2025/26 Estimates Examination of Vote Prime Minister and Cabinet for the hearing of the Governance and Administration Committee scheduled in June 2025. Once the hearing has been completed the document will be available on the following website: Governance and Administration - New Zealand Parliament, I anticipate that the document will be available on 16 June 2025.
