26966 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Land Information: Which, if any, of the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, were invited to make Budget bids as part of Budget 2026?

Mike Butterick: Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) was provided with a baseline reduction target of 2 percent savings target for Budget 2026, which is $2.1 million per annum, for which LINZ submitted a savings bid. LINZ also received a directive to consider initiatives funded out of reprioritisation to meet any non-discretionary fuel costs this year due to the conflict in the Middle East. LINZ did not submit any bids for this.
