26919 (2025). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister for Māori Development: What new spending or savings initiatives, if any, were considered for Budget 2025 but were not proceeded with for each of the Minister’s responsible agencies, if any?

Hon Tama Potaka: Each year Te Puni Kōkiri is required to report on new spending or savings initiatives through Select Committee processes for Estimates and Annual Reviews. I am advised that Te Puni Kōkiri will prepare this information for the upcoming Māori Affairs Select Committee’s Estimates Review process and will be available publicly in due course on the Parliament website at the following link: https://www.parliament.nz/en/pb/sc/scl/maori-affairs/tab/report#filterformsearchtarget.
