26915 (2025). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister of Local Government: What savings or cuts have been reprioritised in Budget 2025 for each of the Minister’s responsible agencies, if any?

Hon Simon Watts: Savings of $14.737 million between 2025/26 and 2028/29. The savings initiative returns funding that is no longer required from the “Water Services Authority - Taumata Arowai, New Crown Agent Regulator for Water Services” tagged operating contingency. Of the savings, $11.832 million has been reprioritised to support the Regional Deals Programme Implementation and Support initiative.
