Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister for Trade and Investment: What initiatives, if any, have funding that will be carried over in each of the Vote’s that the Minister has responsibility for, if any, from the 2024/25 year into the 2025/26 year and what for what reason or reasons will these funds be carried over?

Hon Todd McClay: I am advised that New Zealand Trade and Enterprise has an In Principle Expense and Capital Transfer application in progress for $1.8 million for the Strategic Investment Fund grant program. The reason for the carryover is because there are outstanding obligations to grant recipients who have not yet claimed the grant expense.
